Quantum Mechanics and its Applications
The first question you have after having seen these crazy and crazy concepts about reality and how things work on the smallest scales, you must be asking yourself... "Ta! What are these theories for?!", "What will change in my life if I know about this?" or maybe "What would I use these physical laws for? What benefits does it bring me?" "What would I use it for, and why?"
The simple and short answer for These questions are PRACTICALLY EVERYTHING! As in the beginning, in the first posts, we cite some of the benefits of having Quantum Theory, one of them is the use of this equipment that you are probably using (cell phone/tablet/notebook/computer). Literally everything electronic these days would be inconceivable if it weren't for Quantum Mechanics (QM) at work.
And to understand this we will need to understand how a computer operates, understanding this consequently we will understand how any other electronic component works. In these following pages we will give some examples of the applications of Quantum Theory used today in the most diverse technologies that we use today. The most common and relatively easy to understand would be the computer.
