The uses and abuses of the terms "Quantum"
First we must talk about one of the leading scientists who studied the principles of mechanics. Isaac Newton, father of Classical Physics. One of Newton's most important works concerns the fact that he managed to unify several theories from Kepler, Nicholas Copernicus, Galileo Galilei into one interpretation. According to history as many already know, while Newton walked in the state of Woolsthorpe, and sat under an apple tree, and suddenly an apple falls beside him, when he looks up to see where the apple fell he saw the moon. and asked one of the most important questions in science "If an apple falls, does the moon fall too?" Newton's answer was that "YES", the moon is falling toward Earth, by the following ideas.
The earth rotates around the sun and kills that orbit due to an attractive force and so does the earth and moon.
The moon is constantly falling towards the earth, it simply does not fall because of its tangential velocity, that is, when the moon approaches the earth its radius (distance) from the earth decreases and its acceleration increases, consequently its velocity tangential increase, causing the moon to distance itself from Earth again.
